I love pencil as a an art medium, and your work is so beautiful. I never even heard about tortillions before (but then neither has my spell checker). I've just cut a sliver of paper and used that with my finger, but I can see that it's inadequate for finer work.

Is the background based on an original photo, or did you make it up yourself? It's very effective.

very cool, i got to hold a lion cub and a panther cub at a cat show once, they were cute, i wanted to take them home but they get a little scary when they grow up,lol!! very well done!!
